Sync your HOSP dates to your calendar.

See your compliance dates in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. When a date changes in HOSP, your calendar updates on its own.

The date and a short title. Nothing else leaves HOSP.

What it does.

HOSP sends your license expiration dates, contract renewals, and staff certification expiration dates to your calendar as all-day events. It works through a private calendar link. You copy the link from HOSP and paste it into your calendar app once.

What stays in HOSP

None of this ever goes to your calendar.

Who can use it.

Every date

Corporate admins

Every date for the whole organization.

Their venues

Managers

Dates for their own venues.

Not available

Floor staff

Calendar sync isn’t available for floor staff.

Everyone sees the same dates their own HOSP Calendar page shows. A corporate admin has to switch the feature on first.

Set it up in 3 steps.

An admin switches it on once. Then each admin and manager adds their own link.

Switch it on

Calendar sync is off until a corporate admin turns it on for the organization.

  1. Sign in to HOSP at app.hosp.team.
  2. Click your avatar in the top right, then Settings.
  3. Open Calendar integrations.
  4. Read the notice. It explains that staff names and certification dates will be shared with the calendar app each person chooses.
  5. Turn the switch on. HOSP saves it right away and records who turned it on and when.

To stop it, turn the same switch off. Every calendar link in your organization stops working at once.

Create your link

  1. In HOSP, open Calendar.
  2. Click Add to your calendar, then Create my calendar link.
  3. Click Copy.

HOSP shows the link only once. If you lose it, create a new one (see Managing your link below).

Paste it into your calendar

Google Calendar (on a computer)

  1. Go to calendar.google.com.
  2. Next to Other calendars, click +, then From URL.
  3. Paste the link and click Add calendar.

Outlook (web)

  1. Go to outlook.office.com and open Calendar.
  2. Click Add calendar, then Subscribe from web.
  3. Paste the link, name it “HOSP,” and click Import.

Apple Calendar (Mac)

  1. Open Calendar and choose File > New Calendar Subscription.
  2. Paste the link and click Subscribe.
  3. Set Auto-refresh to every hour or more often. To see it on your iPhone too, set Location to iCloud. Then click OK.

Google and Outlook calendars added this way also show up on your phone if it’s signed in to the same account.

Managing your link.

Go back to Calendar > Add to your calendar, then click Manage calendar link.

Get new link

Creates a fresh link. The old one stops working right away, so paste the new one into your calendar app.

Turn off

Stops the link. Remove the HOSP calendar from your calendar app too. Dates it already downloaded may stay there.

HOSP also turns your link off if you change or reset your password, log out of all devices, or your account is deactivated. Create a new link afterward.

Good to know.

Keep your link private.

Anyone who has it can see the dates in it. Treat it like a password.

Your calendar app decides how often it checks HOSP. Apple can check every few minutes. Google and Outlook can take several hours. HOSP always has the latest dates.

Editing or deleting an event in your calendar app doesn’t change HOSP. Make changes in HOSP.

Your calendar shows only what you can see in HOSP. Check your HOSP Calendar page first, then ask your corporate admin.
